Lash Refresh: When is the Right Time for Eyelash Extension Fill-Ins
Hello lovelies!
Today's post is all about one of our favorite beauty treatments, eyelash extensions! There's just something about having long, fluttery lashes that make us feel confident and beautiful, am I right? But with great lashes comes great responsibility, and that means taking care of them properly to ensure they look their best for as long as possible.
One question we often hear from our clients is: "How often should I get my eyelash extensions filled?" And it's a great question! The answer depends on a few factors, including your natural lash growth cycle and how well you take care of your extensions.
In general, we recommend getting your eyelash extensions filled every 2-3 weeks. This is because your natural lashes go through a growth cycle that lasts around 28 days. As your natural lashes shed, so do your extensions, and getting a fill will help keep your lashes looking full and voluminous.
Of course, this timeline can vary depending on your individual lash growth cycle and how well you take care of your extensions. If you're someone who rubs their eyes a lot or uses oil-based products near your eyes, you may need to come in for a fill more often. On the other hand, if you're someone who is gentle with their lashes and takes great care of them, you may be able to stretch out the time between fills.
Another important factor to consider is the type of extensions you have. If you have classic lashes (one extension per natural lash), you may need to come in for a fill more often than if you have volume lashes (multiple extensions per natural lash). This is because classic lashes can look sparse more quickly as your natural lashes shed.
In any case, the best way to know when it's time for a fill is to pay attention to your lashes. If you notice that they're looking sparse or uneven, it's probably time for a fill. And if you're ever unsure, don't hesitate to reach out to your lash artist for their expert opinion.
Remember, taking care of your eyelash extensions is key to ensuring they last as long as possible. Be sure to follow any aftercare instructions given to you by your lash artist, and avoid rubbing or pulling at your lashes. With a little love and attention, your lashes will look gorgeous for weeks to come!
Until next time, stay beautiful!
